In cold and rainy New York City, spring is already on the racks and summer is on the brain. While day dreaming about warm weather, sandy beaches and swim wear, we thought of iconic photographer Slim Aarons, who captured the American upper classes, often poolside, in the 1950's, 60's and 70's in resort towns like Newport and Palm Beach.
A new Palm Beach swimsuit label, Strongboalt, inspired by the romance of the bygone era captured in Slim's work, recently launched their online website/store and we love the scrapbook of images they have collected of classic style icons and surf culture. On rainy, dreary winter days like these, there is nothing like looking at a handsome man in swim trunks to get us ready for the sun. Here's looking at you kid.
